Sharpen your Skills

"There is no scarcity of opportunity to make a living at what you love; there's only scarcity of resolve to make it happen." Wayne Dyer

This week, we give you tips on how to overcome internal blocks, websites for continous learning, tips on handling feedback, how a local automobile start up got $1B in funding and a book about the tech innovations that will influence the upcoming years.

1. Blog -  Emily McIntyre describes it perfectly: days drowning in emails and phone calls you need to do, schedules, meetings, and unfinished tasks. If you've tried everything you can and still can't figure out why you can't finish what needs to be done, then this might do the trick.

2. Resources - Learning something new everyday is now as easy as downloading a podcast or

visiting a website. Here's a list of websites that can teach you a thing or two without taking so much of your time.

3. Tips - As you know, your customers' feedback is a goldmine of information. But how would

you manage negative responses from customer or clients? Check out some tips from Hubspot on

how to handle ho-hum feedback.

4.  Startup News  - A chinese automobile start-up, WM Motor, just got $1 Billion in funding and it's a

rare feat indeed. See the whole story here.

5. Book list - Kevin Kelly has been giving his insights about the future since the 1980's. If you want to take a peek at how technological forces will be shaping ours, then get yourself a copy of his book, The Inevitable.
